This is a private website, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, arrange release, retrieve an official record, or contact a detainee.
Current Jail Custody
For current Moore County Detention Center status, release-desk routing, or a question about whether a person remains at the jail, contact detention. The official public search and county page list:
Moore County Detention Center302 South McNeill Street
Carthage, NC 28327
Telephone: 910-947-2980
Fax: 910-947-2559
Lobby hours: Not published; call before visiting
The online roster is current-custody oriented. An absent name does not establish release or destination.
Sheriff Release Records
Ask the Sheriff's Office where to send a written request for an existing entry-and-release summary, booking record, or booking photograph. Identify the person and date range. Request the nonconfidential remainder and a statutory basis if any part is withheld.

Telephone: 910-947-2931
Fax: 910-947-1668

Moore County has not published a fixed release-record fee or fixed response deadline in the reviewed sources. Ask for an estimate before unusually extensive work begins.
Moore Court Records
The court file can show bond entries, release orders, dismissals, judgments, sentences, and probation. It may explain why custody ended, while the sheriff record supplies the jail exit time.

P.O. Box 936
Carthage, NC 28327
Telephone: 910-722-5000
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Use North Carolina eCourts Portal where available, a public terminal at a clerk's office, or the paper file held by the clerk in the county of the case.
NCDAC State Records
State prison and state community-supervision records belong to the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction, not the Moore jail. Start with the public offender search. For a request, use the NCDAC public-records page and form. NCDAC does not publish one general fee or response deadline on that page, and confidential internal prison or supervision material may be withheld.
For custody notifications and projected-release questions tied to NCDAC, Victim Support Services lists 1-866-719-0108 and svc_dac_victimservices@dac.nc.gov.
Supervision Offices
Moore is served through Community Supervision Judicial District 19B. The current directory lists the district management office at 131-D Dublin Square Road, Asheboro, NC 27203, telephone 336-318-4228 and fax 336-626-0318. An older state resource lists a Carthage field contact, but that line should be verified through District 19B before a visit.
The Moore County Day Reporting Center is a referral-based supervised-probation resource, not a locator. It is at 107 North McNeil Street, Carthage, telephone 910-947-1549, and lists weekday hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Release Notifications
NC SAVAN provides automated custody status and registration at 1-877-627-2826. Search through the NC VINELink interface and check the displayed source agency. An alert is not a certified release record and can describe a transfer or release with supervision.
The North Carolina Post-Release Supervision and Parole Commission lists 2020 Yonkers Road, 4222 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-4222; 919-716-3010; fax 919-716-3987; and Parole.Commission@dac.nc.gov.
Federal Custody Questions
Use the Bureau of Prisons locator for a federal inmate or released federal prisoner. Use ICE's Online Detainee Locator System when immigration custody is supported. The U.S. Marshals Service has no public released-person locator, so federal docket and records routes may be required. These channels do not confirm a routine Moore jail release.

Do not send private identifiers, legal filings, payment information, or urgent custody requests. The website cannot forward a message to the sheriff, jail, court, NCDAC, or a detained person.
